About the Event:
Mobile Health Collaborative Fall Health Fair
Mobile Health collaborative is an association of over 80 health related organizations who are committed to taking their services into our communities to help bridge the gap between the health system and those without adequate care. Mobile Health Collaborative trains volunteers who are in health related programs or are desiring to go into health related careers- to be patient
advocates for our health events.
These volunteers connect to each individual or family seeking medical / health related social services and and help them identify their medical needs, and begin to develop solutions through visits with our vendors. We also participate in follow up of the patient/ guests referrals.
We sponsor four events per year - two in conjunction with The Nevada Homeless Alliance ( Family Connect and Homeless Connect) and two independently.
We have had events in North Las Vegas, Clark County, The City of Henderson - and this is our first event in the City of Las Vegas.
Training Schedules will be announced - There will be 6 sessions to choose from , located at NSC, UNLV Main Campus, and the The School of Medicine a
Information on training will be relayed to you after registration as a volunteer.
Soon our website will list all of our members and their services- as well as our Strategic Plan and other events our members participate in.
